2nd Annual AMR Exhibition + Invitational at Galli-Curci Theatre

Galli-Curci Theatre

817 Main Street

Margaretville NY 12455

2022 marked the 1st Annual AMR Exhibition at the Galli-Curci Theatre, and we were honored to have the Catskilled Crafters join us with their Coats of Many Colors Exhibit. The tradition is set to continue in 2023, with a twist: artists that generously opened their studios to the public now have a chance to invite a fellow artist to join them. This is a wonderful opportunity for emerging artists, and/or artists new to the Catskills, to feel welcome and be included in the growing arts scene in Delaware County.

In fact, during the 2023 Tour, AMR artists Paul Weil invited visitors to view his contribution to an exhibit titled "Where is This? Paintings & Drawings by Paul Weil & Trevor Wilson" housed inside the theatre's 100 year-old, 5,000 square-foot raw space.

The Opening Reception takes place September 23 from 4 – 7 and plans are being made for a live performance.

DIRECTIONS: The Galli Curci Theatre is located on Main Street in Margaretville, NY steps from the intersection with Bridge Street and Route 30. You may enter to view the installation of work from the main entrance below the theater marquee or from the double-doors on the south side of the building nearest the traffic light. Parking is available on Main Street or in the Municipal Parking Lot behind the Commons Building.

The Galli Curci Theatre was constructed by Clarke Sanford and opened in 1923 as a silent film cinema and offices for The Catskill Mountain News, and it continued to be an integral part of the cultural fabric of the region until its closure as a cinema in 1985.
