There is a peace and serenity I feel when I am experiencing the wind blowing in the mountains, seeing the clouds changing formation above my head, hearing the sound of babbling brooks or walking in the glistening snow of winter. Painting what I see in this wonderful place takes me away from the worries of mankind for a moment in time. My hopes are that I can take the viewer away for a moment in time to experience and appreciate a moment in this magical place. Sometimes we need to escape to a special place to help us make sense of the ever changing world around us.
