Sara Stone has a professional background in watercolor painting, ceramics, industrial design, illustration and calligraphy. She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. She is particularly inspired by nature and landscapes, especially those in the Catskills. She loves to paint and draw whenever possible. After joining the East Branch of the Delaware Plein Air Painters, Sara remembered how much she loves painting with watercolors. She now exhibits her work at the Longyear Gallery, in Margaretville, NY. Sara lives in the scenic hamlet of Halcottsville, where she is inspired, daily, to pick up a pen or a brush."
