About the artist

Ted Sheridan is an architect and artist who works with direct contact printing using pulverized metallic powders, graphite and paint. Combinations of oxidized and pure metals serve as a marking medium on paper that is then transformed though immersion and corrosion of the metals. His work explores the relationship between planning and composition, and the unpredictable results of using wet media and corrosion.

Directions

Take Dry Brook Road off RTE 28 in Arkville, then first right turn onto Chris Long Road. Look for 222 / 224 blue address placards on the right. Park at base of driveway or on Chris Long Road and walk up to the studio around the back of the house. There are signs pointing the way.
