AMR Artists is looking to fill the Executive Director position which includes the following paid roles: Tour Director, Grant Writer, Exhibit Coordinator, and Web Manager. This position can be filled by a team of people or by one energetic person.  Explore the roles below to see how you can contribute to our mission.


Tour Director

Starting November 1, 2025

The Tour Director leads the planning and coordination of our annual Open Studios Tour, working closely with the President and Board to ensure a vibrant and successful event.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Board to plan and execute the Open Studios Tour.

• Manage budgets, applications, spreadsheets, and organizational documents.

• Serve as liaison to 45+ artists and galleries.

• Find and oversee contractors and volunteers.

• Support sponsorship outreach and fee collection.

• Coordinate marketing efforts with our Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager.

• Write and distribute press releases, newsletters, and promotional materials.

• Organize the Tour Kick-Off Party.

• Oversee artist workshops, meetings, and communications.

• Maintain organized files and materials.

• Manage materials distribution and clean up after the Tour.

Grant Writer

Starting November 1, 2025

The Grant Writer secures essential funding by crafting clear, compelling proposals and maintaining strong relationships with funders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, write, and submit 2–5 grant proposals per year.

• Prepare letters of intent and final grant reports.

• Attend grant information sessions when applicable.

• Collaborate with the Tour Director and Board to align budgets and financial information with grant requirements.

Exhibition Coordinator / Curator

Starting March 2026

The Exhibition Coordinator curates and produces our Annual Exhibition at the Galli-Curci Theater, celebrating local artists and connecting our community through art.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the President to plan and curate the Annual Exhibition.

• Communicate with artists, manage submissions, and coordinate artwork drop-off and pick-up.

• Oversee installation, labeling, and presentation of artworks.

• Create exhibition materials, including posters, press releases, and ads.

• Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and Graphic Designer to promote the event.

• Coordinate reception details, volunteers, and theater access.

• Manage post-show cleanup and wall repair.

Web Manager / Editor

Starting January 2026

The Web Manager ensures our online presence reflects our creativity and community, keeping our website current and visually engaging. AMR uses Webflow as its platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and update the website for events, artists, sponsors, and news.

• Add and edit individual artist pages (20–40 updates, 10–20 new annually).

• Post approximately three new events per year.

• Upload and organize around 250 images annually.

• Maintain About, Press, and Sponsor sections.

• Edit the online artist application.

• Troubleshoot and resolve Webflow administrative issues

All above roles are part time and work-from-home with fluid and flexible hourly requirements.

Board Openings (volunteer positions)

Secretary - Responsible for taking meeting minutes (about 4-6 meetings per year) and sending out thank you cards to sponsors.

Treasurer - Responsible for maintaining bank account, collecting artist and sponsorship fees, writing checks and providing a quarterly financial report.
